🍂 Fall Nature Challenge 2025 in Loreto
Explore, Observe, and Document the Life Around Us!
From October 3 to 6, 2025, Loreto joins the Fall Nature Challenge, a national initiative that invites everyone to discover local biodiversity using the iNaturalistMX platform.
This event is a great opportunity to experience the natural richness of our municipality in a unique season: after the rains, when plants, animals, and fungi flourish and become more visible.
📸 Participating is very easy:
- Go out into the countryside, the beach, or any natural space.
- Observe plants, birds, insects, fungi, and any wild living being.
- Record your observations with photographs in the iNaturalistMX app.
Every observation counts and contributes to generating scientific knowledge that supports the conservation of our biodiversity.
🌿 Join us, observe, and share the life around us.

📷 Photo Exhibition “Loreto: Yesterday and Today”
A Journey Through Time Connecting Memory and Transformation
A visual tribute that explores Loreto’s identity through unpublished photographs from the 1950s and 60s, captured by Enrique Ortega, and reinterpreted with a contemporary vision by his son Roberto Ortega and Joseph Cheires. Discover how history, identity, and landscapes converse with the present.
This photographic journey celebrates the beauty of our town, its resilient spirit, and the importance of preserving what defines us as a community. Experience it through guided tours led by Conserva Loreto staff, who will share the historical, cultural, and environmental value behind each image.
