Workshop on Identification of Terrestrial Mammals

In September, we hosted an exciting workshop on the identification of terrestrial mammals in collaboration with iNaturalistMX and the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur. Led by Enrique Flores, regional promoter of iNaturalistMX, this workshop provided participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a captivating natural habitat.

During the session, we learned effective techniques for identifying terrestrial mammals through tracks and signs, allowing attendees to gain practical skills in a real-world setting. It was an interactive experience where participants could apply their knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of the species inhabiting our region.

Not only did participants leave with valuable insights, but they also enjoyed an exhilarating outdoor adventure, exploring nature and searching for mammal tracks.

The connection to the environment and appreciation for biodiversity were palpable at every step of the journey.

We are excited about the positive impact this workshop had on attendees and their growing interest in conservation. At Conserva Loreto, we firmly believe in the power of education to inspire a commitment to our natural surroundings. We look forward to seeing everyone again at future activities and continuing to explore the rich biodiversity of our region together!
