Successful First Nature Fair in Loreto: A Meeting with Science and Conservation

On Friday, March 22nd, Conserva Loreto, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Culture of the Honorable H. X Ayuntamiento de Loreto, held the first "Nature Fair" as part of the activities of the Blue Whale Week 2024. This event proved to be an enriching experience for the entire Loreto community.

With the participation of more than 17 interactive stands, the fair covered various aspects of our natural wealth, from art and photography to crafts and conservation.

Attendees were able to explore local flora and fauna, and learn about research and the use of natural resources in Baja California Sur.

The event was especially focused on the children and youth of Loreto, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of science and conservation through practical and interactive activities. Young explorers actively participated in the various activities, learning about the importance of conservation and biodiversity in a fun and educational way.

The Nature Fair not only increased knowledge and awareness about local biodiversity

Also strengthened collaboration between the community and educational and cultural institutions. This event demonstrated that together we can learn, inspire and work towards a more conscious and sustainable future for our community.

Conserva Loreto and the Department of Education and Culture of the del H. X Ayuntamiento de Loreto thank all participants and collaborators who made this successful fair possible. The Nature Fair has become a key event for environmental education and the promotion of conservation in Loreto.

Thank you to everyone for making this fair a memorable event. We look forward to future editions with enthusiasm!
