Public Talks Series
On January 19, as part of the Culture and Nature Festival, we hosted our public talks series, where we explored fascinating topics about nature and culture with the participation of experts from Loreto, both from urban and rural areas, who are leading wonderful projects for our community.

Among the featured topics, we delved into "Sustainable Mobility in Loreto," a key tool for environmental protection and social development. We also discussed "Cultivating History and Sustainability through San Javier’s Missionary Vine," a project that strengthens the local economy while preserving our culture and history.

Another important talk was about "Dark Sky," where Doug shared his experience as the founder of the Julian Dark Sky Network. He told us how he led efforts to protect the city's night sky, achieving recognition as the second International Dark Sky Community in California.

Each of these talks allowed us to learn about inspiring initiatives and strengthen our commitment to conservation and sustainable development in our region.
