Itinerant Culture and Nature Project
We launched this itinerant culture and nature project in collaboration with the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) through the Museum of the Missions, the Department of Education of the H. XI Municipality of Loreto, and Organización Vida Silvestre, A.C. (OVIS). The project aims to bring museum artworks and exhibitions to educational institutions in both urban areas and rural communities of Loreto, sharing knowledge and bringing students closer to the natural and cultural richness of our region.
This project seeks to bring culture and nature into classrooms, strengthening the connection between new generations and Loreto’s natural and cultural heritage.
During this stage, educational visits were carried out, including a botany talk inspired by the drawings of missionary Miguel del Barco, created in the region. These activities connected history, art, and science, offering students a meaningful and enriching learning experience.
