Birdwatching: Connecting with Nature

Birdwatching: Connecting with Nature

Understanding biodiversity begins with observation, and at Conserva Loreto we had the opportunity to share a day focused on learning and connecting with the birds of our region.

During the Birdwatching Workshop in Loreto, participants learned about species identification, behavior, and observation techniques, guided by bird expert Gerardo Marrón, a marine biologist specializing in bird ecology.

Birdwatching opens a window into the balance and richness of our ecosystems.

Throughout the workshop, participants strengthened their ability to recognize bird species and understand their role in ecosystems, while also learning how to contribute to conservation through citizen science and responsible observation.

We thank everyone who joined with enthusiasm and curiosity, making this a meaningful shared learning experience. Initiatives like this strengthen community engagement and remind us that every action counts in protecting Loreto’s biodiversity.

Let’s keep observing, learning, and working together for conservation.
