Loreto’s biodiversity once again brought us together through a unique experience of exploration and collective learning during BioBlitz Loreto 2026, an initiative that invited us to observe, document, and appreciate the natural richness of our national parks.
Throughout this activity, we explored Parque Nacional Loreto II and Parque Nacional Nopoló, recording plant and animal species through observations and photography. Each encounter with nature became an opportunity to learn and contribute valuable data to citizen science.
Every observation is a key piece in understanding and protecting our biodiversity.
On the first day, at Parque Nacional Loreto II, we experienced a day full of discoveries driven by curiosity and enthusiasm. We then continued in Parque Nacional Nopoló, reinforcing the community’s commitment to conservation and environmental knowledge.
Beyond the data collected, this experience reminded us that conservation is built through active participation, teamwork, and a deep connection with nature.

We thank everyone who joined, shared their time, knowledge, and energy. We invite you to continue participating by uploading your observations on iNaturalist, sharing your experiences, and staying part of this community working to protect our ecosystems.
Let’s keep exploring, learning, and caring for our environment.
