Birds of Loreto: a talk to observe, learn, and connect

At Conserva Loreto, we shared an enriching talk about the marine and coastal birds that inhabit our beautiful town of Loreto—an opportunity to learn about their ecological importance and how we can better observe and understand them.

The session was led by Aurea Guzmán, biologist and naturalist guide, who brought us closer to the fascinating world of these species and the essential role they play in coastal ecosystems.

Learning to observe is the first step toward valuing and protecting the life around us.

As part of the event, we also enjoyed a screening of the documentary “Seabirds of Isabela,” which complemented the talk and expanded our perspective on marine biodiversity.

We thank Aurea Guzmán and Azula Experiences for sharing this inspiring experience with the community, as well as El Caballo Blanco for their continued support of conservation initiatives in Loreto. Spaces like this strengthen our connection with nature and motivate us to protect it.
